Hello, this is my first post. I beg your mercy. I want to say a quick hello.

I am an Orange County native, specifically I live in Santa Ana, California. I am married with a stepson and two dogs. No children of my own.

My stepson is grown and currently working out of Kuwait as a government contractor. More of that later.

I have a four-year-old terrier mix, Cody and a 1-year-old cattle dog/papillon mix. He looks like a miniature red heeler.

We (my husband and I) spend most of our time hanging around town, usually anywhere we can take our dogs with us. We have never left them anywhere overnight. I think we are more attached to them than they to us. We work from home so it's easy to form attachments with them.

We travel often, mostly in our travel trailer. It's our goal to camp as often as possible. Due to the current gas prices, we travel close. Living in Orange County means we travel to Riverside mostly, and the Sierras as much as possible. I could live camping, so my husband just has to say when and I'm ready.

I love baking & decorating sugar cookies and pizza-shaped cakes. I just got a new mold, and I look for any excuse to use it. Heck, I'll bake anything.

Lastly, for now, I enjoy other DIY projects such as making epoxy tumblers. I see something pretty and I think, "hey, I can make that too!" but that's still a work in progress. The garage is pretty messy right now and I can't access my workstation, but once i can believe, I will be posting about them.

The plan is to post about my local and long-distance adventures relating to dogs, camping, baking/cooking and dog friendly activities on more than a local scale.

Please stay posted and I promise to try and not bore you too much. If you have any suggestions of places to go and recipes to try, I'm more than happy to them. I don't have any food restrictions. I'm on the See Food Diet.

Hope to see you next post!
